Re: TRANSMISSION PROBLEM???

You wouldnt advise the Dex 6?

Our new Bonnie is showing signs of that PCS, shifts hard into gears at times. The TCC is also starting to stick.

All within 270 miles on the car since we bought it.

Ya!

Re: Seized Rear Brake Caliper Bracket Bolt

I understand, but the multiple fast shocks will break it loose before shear force.

Got any heat to put on it? I use a plumbing torch. You can pick those up fairly cheap at Lowes/Home depot maybe even Walmart...?

Re: Rear 6x9s, Advice.

JL Audio is one of the best audio companies out there. I have noted that lately they have more of a budget lineup- so beware that it may not be the absolute best but since its JL it should be good still. My first real subs were JL's- W1 12's (there now you guys can date my experience).

99% of the ...

Re: New guy with Fuel Fill issue

I fiddled with it some today. I could not get the filler neck to come out. I took the top hose clamp off. Not sure if there is more to it- so I buttoned it up and called it a day.

Also I noticed it appears the filler neck is fairly new. The edge around the cap looks a bit rusty/crappy. There is a ...

Re: Gas shooting from Filler Neck

I just picked up a 2000 SLE with this same gas shooting issue. The seller warned me of it.

He told me it was just a check valve in the filler neck.

I just wrenched on the car a bit. Its a new filler neck! So I find it hard to believe its the check valve in it. Hell its got new stickers and such on ...

New guy with Fuel Fill issue

I just picked up a 2000 SLE last night off a guy I know.

He told me when you fill it you have to stop around a gallon otherwise fuel will shoot out the filler at you.

He also told me there is a ping pong ball like check in the filler pipe. To just undo the pipe at the rubber hose and run something ...
