You're right, it is all standard equipment. Guess, it feels a little special to me cause I've been driving around an old, beat up '88 F-150 for the last few years (winters in Canada can get nasty haha).
Didn't know it was that rare, thanks for the info :)
My 97 is equipped exactly the same way ...

That's a Gallardo Superleggera.01bonneSC wrote:Stock car lost to a modded car, not the first time that has happened.
EDIT: Are we all in agreement that it looks like a Gallardo? Stock times say high 11s to low 12s area.

Re: Bulb/Backlight for stock 97SSEi Bose Radio?
Guess I never posted about what I ended up doing, but I found a guy selling GM ACDelco factory bulbs on ebay. Installed it last November. Still going strong. About $11 I think it was. Believe the seller was "GMRadios" or something like that.

Wish I had the window sticker for my SSEi, but the previous owner must have lost it at somepoint. At least I did get the manual and the accessory bag.

Re: New Toy Ride
Your car, along with the G8 GXP, are expected to be huge collectors items in the future. They are the last two performance Pontiacs to come off the line and also they were both only made in very limited numbers for just one model year. The value of your car might be slightly reduced because of the ...

Re: my Buick wants a sunroof...she TOLD me so!
I am not a fan of aftermarket sunroofs. My roommate's 2002? Malibu has one that is aftermarket and it looks good at first glance, but upon closer inspection it looks like a hack job and the button is crap.

At least you got pics clearly showing what the tow company did. I don't think they can argue with that.

Looks really good! The pictures make the interior look like the sandstone (beige) interior at first, but then I realized this has the grey interior.

Nice work man, and nice 'Nali. My dad has an 03 just like it but in the Carbon color, bought it brand new, and it has less than 60K on it. Love these trucks, but the steering wheel and brake/accelerator pedals feel like they aren't connected to anything.

Re: The Only Things I Couldn't Find
1. I don't see how this would be any problem at all. But I would check with others. I think you would also want the SSE door trim so it all fit nicely together. As well as the trim between the door and the wheel.
2. I'm pretty sure there is someone with a black 96-99 with a 92-95 grill on it.

Re: Since 1991 I've wanted one of these. Today I made the step.
Took it in for a detailing. Lol
I've got to go back today and finish it -tire shine, check the car over for wax spots (doing it in a dimly lit garage sucks), and do the dash.
Still have a couple more cars to do for my friend. Not pictured in this pic is the MB CLS550.

Re: Do you leave the engine cover on?
I don't mind the engine cover on the L67, though I may take it off for the summer. I just hate how all the new cars today are completely covered in plastic when you open the hood. My grandpa has an Infiniti M35 and you can't see anything but a wall of plastic when you open the hood.
