Bumping an old thread. I checked the oil this past weekend and it was very low. I'm going to assume the oil has not been changed since I replaced the oil pan gasket in January. The car is the family beater car and hardly driven unless someone else's car is in the shop. I would be shocked if someone ...

Dying Car - Need Battery Cable

1995 Bonneville SE - Automatic - 80k+ miles

I'm looking to buy a brand new OEM battery cable. The whole cable that goes from the battery to the alternator and starter. Its only about 6ft max but when I search online I'm getting results for 16ft cables for $200 for this car.

Here is my problem ...

Just want to post a quick reply and say thanks to you two for your advice. New gasket has been on for a few days now and no leaks so far.

I have a 1995 Bonneville SE. I think its the 3800 II engine. As you can see in the pics below the oil pan gasket is leaking. I used engine degreaser and cleaned all around the oil pan last night.
