yeah that is what i figured, because after the morning i wrote the post, it hasnt done it since. So how long can it go on like this, is it really bad for the transmission? I was hoping not to have to dump any money into this until spring time. At least after the holidays lol. thanks

You guys are right as usual. Had battery tested, it had a charge, but came back bad. Alternator and starter all tested great. Replaced the battery and everything is great. The noise was the alternator. Also i did notice the car is shifting a little differently, not badly, it seems to be better ...

Well I've had the car going on almost 4 years, I've never changed the battery. And its still a delco, so not sure how old the battery is. Blower motor? But I never heard the sound before this morning...thanks for your thoughts guys. Will find something out after work

So, last night i pull in the drive way and i notice the psi gauge goes from normal, all the way up to near 120. Now i know when the pressure sender goes out it usually 'pegs' at 120, but this is hovering one or two tick marks below 120. Still sound like the sensor? i hope so, i know i will have to ...

oh sorry i would have been glad to try that glass cleaner, but i used vinegar last night, and now my windows are clear again! :banana: So now onto the hood. I got some compound and cleaner wax, washed it and tried the compound on a small area, but those water streaks are not going without a fight ...

Im going to have to get one of those kits. So i used some vinegar on the windows and i think it worked pretty well. It was getting dark and the car wasnt dry, so i wont know till the morning when everything has a chance to dry. Then i'll know if it worked for sure.
