Re: Transmission help please?!
yeah that is what i figured, because after the morning i wrote the post, it hasnt done it since. So how long can it go on like this, is it really bad for the transmission? I was hoping not to have to dump any money into this until spring time. At least after the holidays lol. thanks

Transmission help please?!
I am aware that this transmission could be on its way out anytime now, as I'm at 130,000 miles on my 02. But just thought I'd grasp at straws and hope it's something else. The other night I noticed we were driving around town slow, it was snowing real bad, and all the sudden every gear was shifting ...

Re: battery ...hopefully
You guys are right as usual. Had battery tested, it had a charge, but came back bad. Alternator and starter all tested great. Replaced the battery and everything is great. The noise was the alternator. Also i did notice the car is shifting a little differently, not badly, it seems to be better ...

battery ...hopefully
Quick question, car wouldn't start this morning. It was starting harder than normal the last few days. Jumped it and it started, ran normal all the way to work. Do I need a new battery? Also when I got it started, there is now a " whirrling" high pitch noise coming from the dash area, wasnt there ...

oil psi
So, last night i pull in the drive way and i notice the psi gauge goes from normal, all the way up to near 120. Now i know when the pressure sender goes out it usually 'pegs' at 120, but this is hovering one or two tick marks below 120. Still sound like the sensor? i hope so, i know i will have to ...

Re: hard water stains on my window

I got some compound and cleaner wax, washed it and tried the compound on a small area, but those water streaks are not going without a fight ...

Re: hard water stains on my window
Im going to have to get one of those kits. So i used some vinegar on the windows and i think it worked pretty well. It was getting dark and the car wasnt dry, so i wont know till the morning when everything has a chance to dry. Then i'll know if it worked for sure.

Re: hard water stains on my window
My parents have well water, so i assume it is hard water. Any way slowly but surely im making progress. I tried windex last night, and it worked a little, cleared up a bit, but the streaks on the windshield remain. So i guess vinegar is next? Do i spray it on, or pour it on? Maybe mix with water? I ...
