Did you end up getting the bulb changed? I tried last week when I had the car ripped apart, but did not see the bulb. I was sick of finding new things to fix, so I got it put back together.
No I haven't attempted it yet - it's on my to-do list sometime within the next few weeks, hopefully. I can ...

Re: Differences in Bonneville models.
Man I hit the mother load......only 1615 painted Cadet Blue. LOL
I have never seen a Bonneville in that color.
Try Dark Ming Blue, only 778 painted that color.
Either blue beats the ranks of Bonnevilles I see painted in that bronze colour (Bronzemist Metallic, I think...). About half of all ...

2002 Bonneville Console Gear Indicator Lights
Hi,
The light(s) responsible for 'PRND321' on the floor console have been out for some time now and I was wondering if anyone knew how/if it can be disassembled easily and what replacement bulb I need... any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Re: if you knew the 00+ had this many problems before you ..
My '02 Bonneville is free of any major issues - I'm rather glad that most of what you guys have mentioned have not shown themselves. Actually, I wasn't aware of any major problems with the Bonneville. In the four years my parents had the car before it became mine there was nothing major that broke ...

Wow, those rims look heavy! But they look good on there - it DOES feel good to banish the winter look eh?

Re: thinking of buying ths car ? is it fixable
Hopefully you can pick it up for fairly cheap - I bet the wheels alone could easily fetch near $1000 if you cleaned them up. If you do end up winning though, I'd take it to a mechanic anyways just to get confirmation as to whether or not there is chassis damage. That way at least you know for sure ...

Re: My first car!!
Hey! I just got my first car and it was a Bonneville as well! What year is yours? I hope you end up getting everything you want to do done. Must be a good time for new Bonneville owners! ;)
Quick question though: how'd you manage to damage the lens while cleaning it? What were you using? But ...

Re: how did you get your beloved Bonneville
Inheritance!
I was given my Bonneville a couple of weeks ago when my parents traded up and decided the resale value was negligible. I LOVE my first car and plan on keeping it in as good as shape as possible for many years to come.

Re: Proud New Bonneville Owner!
Thanks for the welcome!
It's got ~ 166,000 km as of now, and I won't have cause to drive long distances most of the time so it should hang in there all right. Actually, being a new driver I was able to get a discount by agreeing to put no more than 8,000 KM a year on it, so I'm hoping to get at ...
