Re: Big, non-brembo brake options
I run front 4 piston Brembos off at cts-v and rear PBR GXP 12 inch vented rotor brakes with Stop Tech Para-Amid compound.
My car stops amazingly well. I can even chirp my tires (255/45/18) Pirelli P-Zeros with over 60% tread left. And I mean chirp them when my tires are warm and I brake ...

Re: What Brand Tie Rods Would You Use?
I used Moog problem solvers to replace my inner and outer tie rods. Moog came out with a cheaper line of Moog call R-line (R for ricers) and those are the chepo ones. Just make sure you aren't getting the Moog R line garabage and you should be good.

Re: Transmission question for 2003 SSEi
You ABSOLUTELY need a transmission case with the webbing. The W bodies (mote carlo) don't need it because they lack a rear trans or engine mount.

Best bet is to leave the exhaust stock and add a magnaflow 3 inch resonator. i makes the exhaust have a nice burble. a 90 degree v6 will never sound as good as a chevy V8.

Very nice car. You can also fit mustang rims on these cars with hub centric rings. that will open up your rim options.

I have a buddy who would be interested in buying your wheels off once you find the wheels you want.

Nothing. Originally there was a small foam filter there that disintegrated over time. You are fine with nothing there.

Re: Outer tie rod end needs replacing... any advice on brand
I cheaped out once and never again! The cheap brand lasted about 3 months. My steering felt sloppy. And since I had to pay for another alignment 3 months later the cheap brand cost me more in the long run.
