Re: This amp is hot!
I recommend just getting a hiphonics amp. I paid $230 for mine. Its 1200 watts at one ohm. and I was running 3 JLaudio 12s but now I'm just running 2. I blew one and the other one I blew the cap off(glued it back on)!! And the amp never gets hot and its one ohm stable. If you want a new amp with a 2 ...

Re: electrical problems!!
No I haven't had any additional work done to my car except for upgrading my interior speakers. But I done that after I got my tint done. I made sure the blue clamp was in its lock position for a good connection. But before my door controls stopped working. A couple of times prior to me getting my ...

Re: electrical problems!!
I checked and made sure that the master switch was plugged in. I even cleaned it to make sure. Still nothing. Why would the window switch keep the door lock and memory seat controls not to work??

Re: electrical problems!!
I replaced the black module bolted onto the door. Yes all the locks and other switches on the other doors work. I just can't control them from the driver door. I still get sound from my door speakers, and yes my keyfob still locks and unlocks the doors. I pulled the fuse to the driver door to make ...

Re: electrical problems!!
There have been numerous threads posted about door problems. Have you searched and read through any of them? Is this a new problem, or have you posted this before? I don't recall seeing a thread from you but I may have missed it. If you have, post a link to the thread so we can read the history ...

driver door controls don't work????
I checked all my wires and fuses. And none of my switches work. But all the other doors are fine. Can I use a driver door module from a different vehicle? Because I called the dealer and they said the driver door module is $335 dollars!! Are there any alternatives for me. rather than having to pay ...

Re: driver door issue...
It only takes a little moisture on the unlock solenoid to freeze inside the door. Next time it happens, get in the car with the key (does it unlock all doors like mine?) and see if the other 'frozen' door unlocks that way. If it doesn't, hit the power unlock on the drivers door and see if they all ...

no it doesn't even when I put it in drive all the other doors lock and the driver door won't atleast until my car is warm!myfirstbonnie wrote:Does it sound like it tries to unlock? If it does, I would say the mechanical parts may need lubricated. If not it might be the solenoid acting up.

Re: I got caught!!
Tickets suck. You're lucky you have actually gotten warnings before though, I cannot ever remember getting a warning. I've always got the ticket and then usually a seatbelt ticket along with it because I used to never wear it. I've gotten into that habit now though. Back in the day I was pretty ...

Re: I got caught!!
5 over/with traffic is good everywhere, that's my rule. I'll have my fun in corners, ramps, and getting to speed, but anything more than that is just asking for it.
But 95 in 50 is just asking for it. Going double the speed of other cars is dangerous, and very obvious.
One thing I will NOT do is ...

Re: I got caught!!
I remember your crazy story, but I think you'd have more trouble if that SD card happened to resurface. This is a much better situation. I've seen one but am aware of several Passport radar detectors from a local GP forum and 1337ssei. That one is awesome. It is extremely expensive but has a lot of ...
