Re: Left rear parking brake inop
I wouldn't think lubing the cable would last very long.

Left rear parking brake inop
I noticed that my left rear parking brake doesn't hold the wheel. It seems to move ok when you push the pedal. I did not compare it to the right side which works perfect. What do I need to look for to figure out why this doesn't hold the wheel. I took the caliper off and it seemed to be adjusted ...

Re: Rear Wheel Bearings
I am getting a grinding/humming noise from my left rear wheel hub assembly. I heard it driving today. I can hear it when spinning the wheel by hand when I have it jacked up. I'll be replacing it this weekend.

Re: It's raining outside...and a little inside too!
Yeah it is the cable that comes out of the ignition switch. I had to pull up the clip that locks the cable into position, more or less adjust the cable and lock down the clip.
But a worse problem. The clip that attaches the cable to the shifter broke. What can I do to replace/fix it?

ok I feel stupid. I guess you needed to pull the white plastic assembly out and now it works great! It is on a ratchet type system if that makes sense.

What a great thread! I just tore out all my interior and seats carpet etc to fix the leak I have in the right front sunroof drain. I fixed the leak let the carpet dry now I'm trying to get it back together.
I have a problem with the shifter/key. I think there is something wrong with the cable that ...

Re: Ball joint replacement
The rivets should come out easy with a air hammer with a chisel tip.
Thats how I get the upper and lower ball joints that are riveted in on my Chevy Blazer ZR2.
