Just a update for every one it turned out to be a bad PCM popped a new one on from another 99 parkave did they key relearn process and she fired right and I'm golden.

this problem sounds similar to mine im having on 99 park ave.minus the window part, no crank and no talking to the computer, every thing else works as it should tho. ive been told it could be the neutral safety switch inside the transmission. can you try to start in neutral? my car wont crank at all ...

any other incite into this,all the grounds and fuses check out fine? cant start the car or talk to the ecm, no orange light over the P on the PRND.

hello im sure this isn't much help but i do believe that it uses a small servo motor to control the air flow to dash or floor, im having similar issues with a 99 park ave.

thanks for the replys, I'm going to check tomorrow and see what i can find, I'll pull the ground and clean them, it's funny when i get the orange box to show up the car works perfectly. Very odd

thanks for the reply, any tips on where some of the big grounds are for this car? ones that control the ECM BCM and so forth im having a hard time finding information on this car.

well after shopping around its going to be about 1000$ to fix this mistake, I will post pictures of when it comes out of the body shop I am unsure of when its going in tho, thanks for the sympathy on this one. and no not all women drivers suck my mom in fact is a very good driver.

well I found the problem I think, checked the fuses and both underhood and under dash ones were good, then removed the rear sail panles only to find a black melted box with melted connectors going to it for the am radio, will post pictures later tonight.

so here is my next set of numbers 308kms with just a little bit over E, I put in 34.217 liters of gas and the grand total is 36cnd.
well my p0442 is back so I guess its not the vacuum line I sealed up, any thing I can help narrow this down?

ok I took out the MAF today turns out I did have those bits hiding in my tool box, I cleaned it up with the spray only as i did not have any Q-tips on hand to clean the wires, Should I go back and do this? I will take a picture of the line/boot in question with my p0442 code.

so here's my numbers 315kms from full to just a little over the E mark, i put in 41.86 liters, this is with at most 3-5 wot pulls of 10kms to 90km's due to pulling out and stupid times.
