'03 SSEi AC Blower

Winter of '15 blower intermittent noise (sometimes a *dang* nuisance) but worked. Summer & winter of '16 no problems. I've never had to beat on the motor case etc. Spring '17 "NO BLOWER" so I checked and the car had already had an after-market installed, checked the PURPLE on the 3 wire connector ...

Re: Short block "interchange"

Blocks are the same. No VIN markings at all. The only identification are some stickers behind the AC compressor bracket and the front valve cover.

That's what I needed to know and it's what I thought but I was hoping that I had overlooked the possibility of the VIN derivative somewhere on the ...

Short block "interchange"

Is a '98 W-body L67 short block a direct fit to an '03 H-body L67? I've a '98 W-body short block with maybe 30K and my '03 H-body has developed a bit of a knock.

Is there a derivative of the VIN stamped into these blocks for ID purposes? That interests me considerably. If there is then it's likely ...

Re: AUX IN '03 from XM reciever in truck

The OFF/ON isn't in your original post that I read OR if it was I overlooked it. That was then and this is now so I've got something to go with.

The cable I used is Alternative 1(AUX-1):

I'm quite familiar with the C6 Corvette PAL Audio Link so I thought this a ...

AUX IN '03 from XM reciever in truck

A user has mentioned a splice operation at the receiver in the trunk. I've done the same with a connector package and I don't seem to have functionality just using the headphone jack on my iPad. I didn't assume it would work and thought it would likely require the audio direct from the iPod but I've ...

Re: Windshield Replacement with HUD

Out of pocket I believe I might consider a used one. Generally you would "pick-it" or inspect it first and then they would remove it. You either see the HUD control or you don't, pick one with! Some yards actually also do the install and are good at it. YMMV.

Price it several ways from multiple ...

Re: TRANSGO SK-4T65E Kit

I assumed that most would be familiar with the Trans Tune by Seafoam:

I certainly didn't believe anyone would assume I meant the "crankcase" product!

Re: TRANSGO SK-4T65E Kit

No seals for the pistons, just the springs and spacers. When I did mine the gasket wanted to stick but it came apart fine. I would stick with Dex III because VI is thinner and would not help the "seal" in the piston walls.

It's been my understanding that it's not long and the "shear" of D-III is ...

TRANSGO SK-4T65E Kit

Are "new" seals for the 1-2 & 3-4 accumulator pistons included with the kit? There seems to be some confusion as to the content of the kit. Any "torn" gasket reports for the accumulator housing to cover? Aside from adding the second magnet and a drain plug that's pretty much the extent of everything ...
