Re: Continental PureContacts mounted today.....
I should have said Impala 2LTZ but it's all good. My mother just got a 2014 Ford Focus SE with 17 inch wheels. They also are recommended at 35 PSI. I'm going to keep my Bonneville at 33psi.

Continental PureContacts mounted today.....
After long research and trying to decide what tires to get. It came down to the General Altimax RT43 vs Conti PureContacts. Both tires are at the top of their class for over all performance. For winter handling they also excel. Something rare for Touring all season tires. Tire Rack and Youtube have ...

[quote="nos4blood70"]Having driven a V6 Impala, no stock 3800 Bonneville is gonna be giving it a very decent run. Definitely not an NA car. They are quicker than the numbers let on.
I like them a lot. They are great, roomy cars. Albeit a little goofy looking.[/quote

Thoughts on the new Chevy Impala 2LTZ...
It's the closest thing to the Bonneville, IMO. It's interesting that it puts out 305 HP and it isn't any faster than the SSEI or the GXP. And a good running L36 might give it a good run. It's not that much heavier than the Bonneville. So what gives? One area to look at is the HP numbers on all these ...

200 or 205 HP for the Series II?
Hey everybody. I see a lot of discrepancy with HP figures with this engine. Different reviews of all the different models with this engine have HP ratings all over the place. I just read a Road Test of the Monte Carlo and it has it at 200 HP for example. Same with the Impala ETC. The Camaro ...

Re: Life long Pontiac owner...
I will. A little history. I'm the second owner. I bought the car with 30,000 miles. I currently have 114,000 + miles. Parts I had to replace were Coil Packs, Catalytic Converter, EGR Valve, Water Pump, Sway Arm links, oil pressure gauge. Fuel gauge has stopped working and my indicator light on the ...
