Hello,
2001 SE 221K miles.
I have been having this issue on and off all year. When I’m in high gear (full load) and I accelerate I get a “miss” or a “jerk”.
4 months ago I replaced my ignition module, coils, plugs as wires and the problem went away.
It’s back again. No codes.
However today ...

Re: P0620 - voltage light on - 2003 Buick Park Avenue
I had the exact same scenario last week. My fuse was OK, however going through a ton of water cooked my alternator.
My car exhibited that exact same conditions you describe regarding the gauge.

I always have issues with the air fittings.
It's probably just me.
I'll order the air shocks.
Thanks

2001 Bonneville Rear shock replacement
Hello,
I need new rear shocks, however I don't want air shocks.
Is there a direct replacement to eliminate air?
If so, do I need to disconnect air pump?
Thanks

Regarding dirty MAF......I assume there is a special cleaner for this.
Can I spray it on the vehicle or do I need to remove it?
Thanks

2001 SE Transmission Issue
Hello,
2001 Bonneville SE.
At 112K miles I had the trans rebuilt.
I'm at 214K miles now and I feel it slipping when I'm in high gear when I want to accelerate.
Nothing from a standstill.....only in high when, for example entering freeway...cruise set and creeping up a hill etc.

Re: Failed Brakes at Shop
Indeed. If you have the ability (skills, equipment, and place to do it) maintaining your old car is money in you pocket compared to a payment or a $35k+ replacement. So was the flex plate itself $800, :eek2: , or was that parts & labor?
Flex plate is only like $35. Labor is 750.

Re: Failed Brakes at Shop
Finally finished the brake line yesterday. Lots of rust....bending....flaring...tightening.....bleeding...freezing...swearing.
At the end of the day, I have brakes again (oh yeah, had to replace battery after 10 years).
Now off to the trans shop to fix the cracked flex plate.

I agree. I'm in MI.
It's just weird.

Failed Brakes at Shop
Hello-
Asking for opinions.
I dropped my 2001 off at local shop to get a quote on cracked flexplate. When I dropped it off the brakes were perfect!
After I got the quote for the flexplate that gave me a heart attack I told the guy thanks but no thanks.
