Re: New from St. Louis
I hope everybody is OK. Bad thing to have a car accident even worse when somebody is hurt.
Tongue in cheek response here but I think this is a win-win-win for your girlfriend. She gets to drive a Bonneville SSEi, she gets to pay off the Ford Focus (no car payment) and she (you) get to hang out on ...

Re: What did you do to your car today?
didn't do anything today to my 2002 SLE. Got a big weekend planned though. I will fix the drivers side reclining seat that quit working. It is a manual seat back. Hopefully I will have time wash and thoroughly clean my car. With temps in the 50's and sunny, it will be nice to spend some quality time ...

Nice lookin' ride. Love the color and wheels. So how did the clay bar work? Can you see a difference? I've never used a clay bar before, but thats about to change a soon as the weather warms up. Is it worth the effort? Keep up your good work.

Re: 1981 bonneville safari in Cincinnati
love the Safari Wagon. Our neighbors had a 1979 or 1980 Safari Wagon growing up back in the day. The stuff we did in that wagon brings back good high school memories. Sounds like a great ride. Good for you fixing it up. Would like to see pictures when you get a chance.

I'd keep it as well. If you don't need the money just sit on it for a while.

Re: 2002 SLE Headlight Problem
problem solved. found a few loose wires and bad connections under the fuse box in the engine compartment. It looks like somebody nicked some wires working near the fuse box in a previous life.

Re: 2002 SLE Headlight Problem
bad news. the new used multi function switch did not fix my problem. Have the same problem with the new switch installed. I will check out the Dash Integration Module. so far I have replaced the ambient light sensor (on top of the dash) , the daytime running light relay in the fuse box under the ...

I have 2002 SLE and the turn signals are flashing fast and loud. All bulbs are good. went to change out the turn signal flasher relay/module and learned thru a search on this website that the turn signal flasher and hazard flasher are integrated together in one module behind the flasher switch ...

Re: Advice about buying used 2002 SLE
I insure new and used car dealerships and have since 1990. Lets just say I know the game. I will tell you, as a general rule, they have that car priced at least $2000 higher than what they have in it. Unless of course its been on their lot more than 90 days or they've previously marked it down for ...

Re: 2002 SLE Headlight Problem
This may be a bit of a witch hunt but I decided I am going to try to follow some wiring back from the headlights and check for proper grounding and pinched wires, etc. Its supposed to be pretty nice weather for the next couple of days around here (40's) so I can't make the excuse that's its too cold ...
