Go the FB group Pontiac Bonneville Club and post your pics. They still do COTM.

Ok, so the wire-piercing probe adapters came in.

New test results.
I put the red probe on C wire, black to ground and turned key on engine off and got 5 volts.

Re: Hunting down a P0401 code: MAP & MAF Values, etc.
Ok, so I unplugged the vacuum harness from the map sensor.
I turned the key on, engine off.
It read zero. I then applied vacuum at 5 in Hg, then 10 in Hg, and still got zero readings on my ObdLink scan app. It was changing my boost levels.

No headers, 100% stock.
I was watching a Salem Doyle video and he had his crossover pipe wrapped on his GP.

Glad to hear your ok after the ditch and stabbing.
I will be planning for a headlight retrofit. I plan to leave a single upper orange lens in the top corner to avoid a ticket.
Hope you make 250k!

Re: Hunting down a P0401 code: MAP & MAF Values, etc.
So going back to the MAP sensor, assuming you can see the data you posted earlier with the key in run and engine off, why not try seeing what the MAP reading is with the sensor its self unplugged from the engine and open to atmosphere. If its not zero or close to it, you know its bad.

Re: Hunting down a P0401 code: MAP & MAF Values, etc.
So the engine stalled.
I am going to look at fuel trims and check out the egr tube for cracks, next.
I did change out my PCV valve and replace a vacuum hose that goes to the vacuum manifold to the boost bypass valve.

Re: Hunting down a P0401 code: MAP & MAF Values, etc.
I'm going to hold off on replacing the MAP sensor right now and tomorrow will try this trick to determine if it is a clog or a vacuum leak.
1. With the EGR valve removed from the intake manifold, have a helper start the engine.
2. You'll notice one of two things:
The engine will start and run ...

Re: Are my MAP & MAF Sensor Parameters in Range?: P0401
What would the AC Delco or GM part # be for the MAP sensor?
Amazon doesn't let me add the SC info and keeps recommending the little square one when I need the larger rectangle style.
Is this it? https://smile.amazon.com/ACDelco-213-1545-Original-Equipment-Manifold/dp/B000C9JX4I

Re: If removing the throttle body...Why drain coolant?
I wouldn't drain the coolant, but you will have some dribble out. Just put some rags under that area and then just make sure your reservoir has the correct amount of coolant. With how little you use, it'll self bleed. At least it has in all of my experiences with removing the TB or the upper intake ...

Re: Questions on either porting or gen V swap and C.A.R.B.
The only thing is if the mods lean you out enough to throw a code without a tune, pcm swapping won't work. You could be completely fine but won't know for sure until you do the work and put enough miles on it to find out.

GenIII porting is likely your only CARB passing option. There are 2 decades of threads on it at this point but here's one:

GenV swapping will require a noticeable adapter plate and either bypassing or adapting the EVAP and ...

I'm not asking to be spoon fed answers, but is their a resource to learn about porting a gen III or swapping a gen 5 and what they require?

Hunting down a P0401 code: MAP & MAF Values, etc.
My 01 SSEi with 126K miles, threw a DTC P0401 code.
I'm on a diagnostic hunt and was wondering if my MAF & MAP are acting right.
Trying to rule out the MAP and MAF sensors.
