3M makes a good weatherstripping adhesive. There is yellow and black that I know of. I use the yellow and have for years. It is a very sticky solvent based adhesive that dries hard.

On my 99 SE I use Rotella T3 10-30. I tried a couple of different full synthetics and it seems happier with the T3. I use the good Wix filters and change at about 4,500. It has 205,000 miles and no ticks, knocks, leaks, or smoke.
