Re: Front and Rear Calipers

well considering 2003 was the last year for the ssei i would probably say those might not be GXP brakes. i wouldnt be sure and maybe someone else might post different but maybe a link to them would help distinguish them

Re: I Think I Blew A Fusible Link

I've never had any luck with the posts under the hood for the h body's ever. I always use the battery for jumping. It the car is completely and totally dead the jump packs sometimes won't even light up the lights. If possible take the battery to an auto parts store for testing and a charge

So I know there was something similar to the home link for the Bonneville. Anyone have any information on this or if it can be installed manually?

Re: Parking break replacement

Both wheels spin freely. Cables haven't been used in the 3 years I've had the car and were frozen when I bought it. Both rear cables are lumpy and show rot in the cable where the spring is. In pretty sure I broke the mechanism inside the pedal cause if I press on it hard I get no clicking. The ...

Re: Still running hot! Even after replacing LIM gaskets.

id water isn't the best thing to use straight cause of the antifreeze has 'oils' for the waterpump bearings at least from what ive done when doing flushes. you can try a reverse flush on the radiator but it might still be plugged in the fins. oh maybe the waterpump might be dead?

when you did the flush was there any grit or anything in the fluid? still might be a plugged radiator or fans might not be working

car is parked. failed inspection due to rust hole in the frame. cost to fix is 400 bucks (thank god) only reason im fixing said rust is because the car is so mechanicly sound that the parts alone are worth it

Re: What did you do to your car today?

Talked to the guy that does body work for our shop...he wants 500 bucks just to paint the bumper cover I have....grrr. Of course, the paint color isn't that cheap, nor is it an easy one to shoot. I've never shot metallics out of a gun, so I'm not sure if I want to tackle it with such expensive ...
