Re: Rotor and Pad Install Issues!
Replacement rotors should be the same size and thickness as stock, and brake pads should fit in the factory calipers, making me think you have the wrong parts. If you run that part number on the Summit Racing web site, it lists other GM but not Pontiac.
Ok, thanks. I'll check there to see. Amazon ...

Rotor and Pad Install Issues!
I recently purchased a Power Stop k1543 front and rear brake pad and rotor combo kit for the front and rear. My car is a 2002 Bonneville SSEi. After checking Power Stop's website I verified these were the recommended combo for my make and model.
Issue #1 is that the pads for both the front and rear ...

Re: SSEi Wheel Value
Wow! Thanks for the info guys. I'm in California, so I'll post them and see what happens at $400 obo Not sure what the demand is here, but I'm crossing my fingers...
They have tires, worn but still usable. Pirelli on two and one Continental and one General. Came when I bought the car.

SSEi Wheel Value
I have a set of SSEi wheels that are on my 2002 right now that I will be putting up for sale this Friday. I'm getting new wheels and tires this week.
My question is how much is a fair price to ask for these? They are in good shape and shine up well.

I must have read it wrong. He said he was adding subs to the stock system. I naturally thought he meant woofers in a box LOL

Re: kicker amp
I mounted plenty of amps on the side of the subwoofer box itself. Saves space and everything is all together if you ever have to pull it out of the trunk. Also, I secure the box so it doesn't slide around the trunk!

Re: Dual Climate Stuck
When it stops pouring here where I live I'll check it out.
How will I know if it's stuck vs. if it's broke?
I want to fix this problem first before I move on to the AC

Dual Climate Stuck
2002 SSEi with dual climate control. I've been doing my research here and my problem is that the heater controls show that the position for the defrost, vents and floor are changing, however the air always blows out of the vents and floor no matter what setting the controls are on. The position is ...

Re: 2002 SSEi Service Questions
Thanks for the info guys. I'm not sure if the gaskets have been replaced. The brake rotors are bigger than the stock ones, not sure if that's why they are so pricey, but I'll look into finding the best deal. I know the headers look like they've been replaced and someone did some sub-par work on the ...

Thanks. I'll keep an eye out. I'm changing it in April, so doing my homework now. Just got my car in November so right now it all about flushing all fluids, changing sensors, plugs, filters, etc.nos4blood70 wrote:FE5(GXP) suspension is a good performance upgrade, but hard to find.

2002 SSEi Headlight Cleaning Question
I have mineral spirits, 400, 1000, 1500, 2000, and 2500 wet sandpaper. I also have a water-based urethane wood sealer.
1st question: Is it going to work if I start with the 400 and go straight to 1000 grit?
2nd question: Will any water-based urethane work, or does it have to be Minwax?
I'm strapped ...
