Re: Thinning the herd...
My grandma has one that is nearly exact except for the rust and she absolutely loves it. When my dads brothers and sisters offered to all help pitch in to buy her a newer car since she's getting older and could probably use the extra immenaties, she said that she really liked the car and that she ...

Re: Tough Cold Starting
I guess for $17 dollars, it would be worth the money, but just barely. I'd feel more comfortable paying $15 for it. It does help the seats warm up a little faster, and the lights are a tiny bit brighter, but you would have to point it out to notice it. Definitely a decent cheap little mod.

Re: High Oil Pressure?
Yeah I always do my own oil change. If we havnt already taken out the steel trash bin, I'll try and find that filter and put up a picture. I pretty much had to destroy that thing to get it off!

High Oil Pressure?
As of recent, my oil pressure has been around 80 psi. Up until about 3 weeks ago it usually stuck around 45 psi. Is this normal? I did an oil change about 100 miles ago, and this hasn't fixed it. I was a bit late with the oil change (4,000 miles), but I didnt think it would be of too much harm since ...

Re: CB Radio
Everybody (rednecks) and their dog around here with a truck has a CB and intercom system hooked up. Most people hate it, and say its too loud and annoying, but I think its hilarious when giant trucks zip around town with loud sirens and such coming out of the speakers. Another bonus, when we play ...

Is this basically a direct swap in fit? This would be a really neat mod I'd be interested in!

Re: Tough Cold Starting
Just got it this morning. It installed crazy easy, only took about 5 seconds and it was in. I havnt had the chance to drive around with it yet, but while scrolling through the DIC, I did notice that it was up already and everything was working fine. I'll give a better review when I get the chance to ...

Re: 2014 Bonneville
This is why gm needs to take 50's-70's cars and just modernize them to a point. In my opinion that looks cool as hell!
I can agree. I would really like to see a car company emerge making cars that look classic, but have everything modernized. Like have a model from each decade. A 60's muscle car ...

If for whatever reason, Pontiac started back up, or Chevrolet picked up the Bonnevillle or whatever, what do you guys think it would look like? What would you like to see?

IIRC, theres a post around here with every bulb number for 2000+. A little digging should bring it up and have all of the information you might need.

Re: Tough Cold Starting
Yeah I ordered the Stage 1.
I dont really think it will be some almighty super device, but for only 17 odd dollars, I didnt think it could hurt much. And if it really screws with things, I could just send it back for a refund or some sort of store credit.

My DIC works perfectly, too. I think it just lets you know when your tire pressure gets too low, however.

Re: I'm new here. Got a few questions.
Some very easy lights to swap to LED lights would be the footlights, overhead lights, and the glove box light. I dont remember their part numbers, but I believe they are all festoons and the covers to them pry right off. I swapped all of mine to LED's with red LED's in the footlights and it looks ...

Re: GXP shifter light bulb out(between seats)
All joking aside, anyone want to open a shop with me where all we do is change bulbs, windshield wipers, rotate tires, etc. and charge ridiculous prices? Its crazy to think that shops get away with this sort of highway robbery because people don't bother looking online. Props to you, FrankAR15!

Re: GXP shifter light bulb out(between seats)
I've replaced mine and I used a LED #37 bulb. Total cost for me was a couple bucks for the LED's. I should open my own shop offering to swap bulbs, charging $100 a job. Easy money if you ask me. If you use LED's, make sure to buy a red one, the white ones are WAY too bright and will make the red ...
