Can you put a non-supercharged engine into an SSEi?

Yes, if you want to do so. no reason you cant.. people swap SC engines into their non SC cars so it can go both ways.

Is there even any gain of a SSEi over an SLE performance wise minus the S/C and different trans/axles?

I thought a SLE could be optioned just the same as a SSEi....

Do you mean delete the SC, or use a n/a block, and still keep the boost?

Memory Seats, HUD and Stabilitrak are the big SSEi-only stuff, IIRC. 00+ at least.

Lol. Stabiliwhack.

00+ didn't vary *too* much. 03+ SLE could have Monsoon, but I've only seen a couple.

92-99 was a huge messy mixed bag of options. Supercharged SEs, SLEs, SSEs, and Eis, SLE packages but no trim, leather benches, cloth uplevel buckets, and don't get started on wheels. Basically anything could have anything in one way or another. In general that is. Way more variation than a 00+ could have.

Huh. Didn't know memory seats were SSEi only. Makes sense that HUD and Stalilitrak are though.
