Year and Trim: 2005 Bonneville GXP low miles, White Tri
Air bag light came on, and I believe it was after I slammed on the brakes to avoid a collision. No access to TechII. Just need to know where the front sensor is located, and any other outside the box ideas from my friends at Pontiac Bonneville Club. Thanks!!

Year and Trim: 2004 GXP - plus a handful of other Bonnevilles
It is mounted on the frame down behind the cooling fans/radiator. If you look straight down you should see it. The torx bolt to remove it is mounted under the car, and it is REVERSE thread.

FYI, the front impact sensors do commonly go bad. It has nothing to do with slamming the brakes on. They are much smarter than that.

Well that's good to know.. I didn't rear end anyone either BTW, just noticed airbag light on after that little scare. Hey thanks for reply I'm going to check it out. I'll let you know..Peace out!
