Neither the driver's nor the passenger's switch will operate the front passenger's power window on a 2000 SLE.

Mirror & door lock work.

Bought a "good" salvage yard door module off of e-bay.

Swapped modules. No change.

What may be some next steps to try? :dontknow:

I do not have a body code reader.

Window regulator is broken or the window motor itself is bad. You didn't inspect it when you had the door panel off?

No. Several years ago, the module failed in that door.

I replaced it and the window worked until recently.

In my experience its the regulator/motor failing 75% of the time, the door wiring at the hinge area 20% of the time, and the module itself being 5% of the time.

I removed the motor, sanded the carbon buildup off of the armature, greased the metal track & the bearing areas on the armature shaft.

Reassembly had the window working so I put the prior module back in and it worked as well.

Rear driver's side window was also inoperative.

Using the same procedure restored proper operation.

Thanks!

P.S. Mark the top of the motor casing prior to disassembly, improper assembly will reverse the action of the window switch!
