For the last couple weeks occasionally as I'm coming to a stop the peddle begins to sink nearly to the floor. This does not always happen but about 40% of the time it does. Symptom of a Master Cylinder going bad?

Sounds like a master cylinder to me.

Make sure you are not losing fluid from a slow leak somewhere.

Check the rear wheel cylinders before dooming the master cylinder... If the rear wheel cylinders are dry and adjusted, then you may want to look at the master cylinder...
