My 04 Pontiac SLE started to loose power and sputtering while driving on the freeway and then stopped. Now if I try to drive it, it will sputter and die like its not getting fuel.

Help, My husband dont know where to start.

My thought is the P0102 is caused by a bad MAF sensor, which is screwing with the airflow mixture which could be causing the pcm to think the bank 1 O2 sensor is bad.

Do you think it could be caused by me spraying carb cleaner in the throttle body? But the car was not running.

P0102 is absolutely telling you that you have a faulty MAF sensor. Unplug the sensor and it should run better.

Replace the sensor only with OEM, the aftermarkets are junk that only last months.

Thank you,
We will start there. How long can I drive with the sensor unplugged? Any opinions about a used MAF?

Indefinitely, it's just the car won't be running optimally and you might notice a decease in fuel efficiently or power.

A used OEM MAF would be fine, as long as it's a known good.
