at the moment i have a zzp shift kit the one that comes with spacers for a firmer shift. i'm having slight shifting issues and was wondering how much better the intense shift kit? do you think it may help my shifting issue? (i would have bought that onein the first place if i would have realized the zzp one was only spacers and no springs.)

thanks all
dan

Can you define what "a slight shifting issue" entitles?

at about 55 or 60 mph when accelerating softly it seems to no quite wanna shift into gear and shutter. it could be the mounts i'm going to replace them this weekend i hope. but overall is the intense kit better?

thanks
dan

Overall the intense kit is better because you get new springs and spacers. You are correct.

Although, I am not overly sure if this will help your shudder issue. Do you get the shudder on an upshift or downshift? Also, I assume from 3rd to 4th or 4th to 3rd?

it usually does it when i'm going up a hill at 60mph or so when it wants to shift down into third. but not always. i think it could be a combination of things motor mount and possibly a slight miss every once and a while. i'm just going to do a once over on the car fairly soon and be done with it. all new shocks and struts and mounts, plugs wires, trans flush and new filter, intense shift kit, also it has a slight shake from the tires that might be contributing the whole problem so new rubber on all corners. i've replaced the MAF sensor and the TPS and it didn't change anything, also new front axles and wheel bearing were just done. i already replaced the TCC solenoid and the PCS in the transmission and it didnt really help anything.

At the rate I've been going it'll be a new car in no time lol

If you have the ZZP Shift Kit, the Intense one isn't so much better that it's worth installing. Sounds like your clutches are starting to let go. Do a trans flush, and add a bottle of Lucas TransFix and see if that helps.
