Does anyone know where or if they sell LED tail light assemblies for 05 Bonneville. I only seem to find Grand Prix or Grand Am. I guess they dont think people fix up Bonnevilles.

I haven't seen any. I'm sure there's places that will make them for you, though. I know there's lots of places that do things like halos and LED strips.

 Well, I'd give you some links if I had any experience myself with them. Google is your friend.

I went ahead and ordered the bulbs. I ordered 4 with 48 leds on each for the parking and brake lights. I want to get for the signal lights but I dont want them to flash fast. I heard you have to change the flasher to fix that but it seems the flasher is built in with the hazard switch so I dont know if i will be able to do that or not. I need to get white leds for the reverse lights too.

Yeah, LEDs will not work in the flashers without modification. The normal bulbs use resistance to help time the flashes, and LEDs don't have that resistance.

Does a 00+ have a flasher or is it controlled by a module where the resistance wouldn't matter?

Check out hidplanet.com, they have an LED section with plenty of people who have redone their taillights and can help you along the way.

Some LED bulbs have built in resistor circuits to stop the fast-flash issue.

The PnP led bulbs wont give you the look youre looking for and tend to fall quite short of filiment bulbs in performance.

I ordered LED dome lights too. Im going to get the backup and turn signals also. I am going to buy an LED flasher so they will work...does anyone know where the signal light flasher is?

Replacing standard halogen tail-lamps with LED is NOT going to be a very good idea, if you notice any car with LED's has specific reflectors around them that work differently than your standard far set back reflector...in other words it'll be very dim and ineffective. I've tried this with some of the best LED replacements on the market, they never come out nearly as bright. You'd have to gut the tail-lamp assembly and modify it to have proper reflectors. The only thing I could ever come up with otherwise is the giant LED boards sold on autolumination:

If you want LED bulbs to replace your stock bulbs, this company is one of the best out there, but you have to pay to play. http://www.v-leds.com/

This is interesting.

I remember back in the day, aka a year ago, I bought myself about $150 worth of LEDs from autolumination for my 01 SSEi and man... problems would be an UNDERSTATEMENT. First off, I'm not sure exactly what I bought, but there are a lot of bulbs in there.

First of all, we have our taillights which are each a bulb. Then we got our turn signals. Then we have these extra little warning bulb things... I don't know what they're called. I also got reverse lights. So I got an LED for each bulb.

It looked great... the delay from hitting the brake was very noticeable compared to standard bulbs. Only thing was, it started screwing my systems up. First, my traction control wouldn't stay on. Next, my AB light came on. Took it to the dealer and it was some type of short caused by the lights... according to them. I completely disagreed but I have no idea ^_^. So I took them out for a while (but I left the reverse lights in there). Still haven't messed with them since then but that was a $1,200 system in my car I had to replace so I don't really want to do it again haha.

I MAY try the V-LEDs and see how they work... if that doesn't mess with anything, that would be GREAT. And I don't have LED turn signals so that would be even more fantastic!

Anyone have my issues before?
