I have a 2004 Pontiac Bonneville SE. The airbag warning came on and stays on. I flashes 7 times at start-up then stays on until I turn of the car. I had the entire airbag module replaced an that did not solve the problem. My mechanic says it might be the clock spring assembly. Where would I find a clock spring?

Were the codes pulled for the airbag system to identify the problem before the module was replaced? If not, go to the dealer or a well equipped shop that has a scanner that can read those codes before replacing any other parts.

The code said the airbag system was the problem.
