Sorry if this has been discussed already but I searched and couldn't find anything.

My HVAC system is not working properly. Everything appears to be working (vents changing, on/off, temp adjust side to side) except the fan will not turn up by itself as its supposed to. I can manually turn it up and it blows fine but if i hit auto on 60 deg it will turn back to half or less even when its 90 in the car. Same if i turn up the heat it will turn the fan down but not up. Also i noticed when i control the fan manually the temp is either cold or hot nothing in the middle. Its really cold air until i go way high then it switches to hot. i always thought it had turned the fan down and would blow mild air out to maintain.

I'm wondering could this be a temp sensor issue or an HVAC control issue, or something else entirely?
