I just seen a new post on tires are being recomended, but Im wondering about the factory RSA's ,are they really a decent tire? Ive got that shake at 65-70 and the dealer told me it was tires,but....It really does need em anyway.I drive only interstate 80mi. round trip a day(when I get to use her car!) I dont want to drop a ton of cash I dont have..but it is your life on the line.I was looking at a set of Firestone Indy 500's. Any suggestions? Pirelli seems outa my legue.

RSA's are expensive Junk. Go to tire rack and get something with good reviews. I have the Yokohama Avid ENVigor 235/55R17 on my SSEi and so far they've been great. Haven't had them in snow yet. The Goodyear TripleTred is junk, IMO.

The Indy 500 is a summer-only tire. Not good below 45°F, or in snow and ice. Avoid it unless you want to get a set of winter wheels and snow tires.

Think about it. You’re tooling down the road in your Prius, knowing full-well that this thing being green is as big a sham as federally mandated ethanol-enriched gas, Russia pulling out of Ukraine, and Obamacare.
