I had to tear the EGR off again to try and fix the hole in the tube.

As easy as it is to take off the stock air box I got frustrated with having to struggle with all the noise cancelling boxes that hang up on the coolant hose.
So I tossed it. Literally!

I used my spare S&B filter with the 4" opening and connected it to the stock flex accordian using a plastic adapter.

I can feel the trani frying increase in torque. This should surely help to grenade any weak links in the drivetrain.
Getting on knees and praying to the great gear god in the sky.

I just had to cover up the tubing with some more reflectix wrap complete with three red stripes.

I glued some rubber seals to the top of thick built up so it seals to underside of hood.

The Grizz does not seal. I can modify it when the weather warms up next year.

I've never known my L67 without an intake, I'm sure if I went back to stock I'd really hate it

Ya, and I didn't have to change the washer tank or relocate the evap cannister.

The adapter is completely smooth flow. Must add about 10 hp.

It's just a PVC 4" x 3" 45* adapter ($5.50).

Inexpensive and effective regardless of having to reuse the factory flex connector.

Vinyl electrical tape is the best material I have found that stands up to heat and oil. It lasts for years, looks good and can be replaced easily and cheaply.

I have had pieces on the "i" of my SSEi side markings for three years now and they are still perfect.

Disabling the EGR seems to really wake up this car.
Now with the new whine, I almost like driving this car the most.
