Seems like it needs a bit of work, but it definitely has a lot of potential!

Besides the missing gas door and the spare, she looks great!

Excellent! Looks like you need just a few things fixed, and then you'll have an awesome Bonneville. Very nice find!

As of right now I've put 400 miles even on her since I bought the 40th.

Now at 124975. Camcorder is in car when the time comes

Today I bought 2 VERY nice used Michelan HydroEdge tires. Still ALOT of meat on them. $125 after Mounting, balancing, and tax. Also put the Michelan wiperblades on, Can of Seafoam, And to top it off a 2GB Zen Stone Plus clearence for $35 at Wal-Mart :)

Tomorrow comes an alignment and oil change. Who does the dino juice change depends if the weather is good tomorrow. I thought it was the tires that we're causing my high speed shake, Turns out not at all.

Found a chrome T-star over on the NE club. Hopefullt i'll get here soon along with my clear corners I bought 2 days ago!

I believe they came in all the colors Bonnevilles came in that year. I wish they only came in the Cherry Met, would have added some specialty to it, but oh well.

Did just a tad of work today.

Originally when the radio was put in it was working only occasionally. Took the radio out and rewired the connections. Now its working again. If it works all the time now only time will tell.

Also I put the clear corners on and the bluish turn signal bulbs (wtf why do I keep forgetting the name of them?) No pics, But they're lookin' good!

After a 10 minute break me and a friend tackled the rear 6x9's and replaced them with some good Pioneer ones. They sound AND thump great, Then I convinced my buddy here to get in the trunk and inspect the air compressor (I'm a little big to contort myself). Some connections are actually melted apparently? Going Junkyarding tomorrow...

Why is that it seems like the original owners of these 40th anniverseries treated them like crap I just saw one the other day it was that dark cherry burgundy color an se though the headliner was all baggy and it had that crappy looked tint with bubbles all in it I wish I would have had my camera and it looked like they had rammed the side of there car into a stop sign about 12 times but none the less it had the 40th anniversry badges both of them were still in tact
I was tempted to go pop them off and be on my way its not like they would care much anyway the way they treated it lol hahahahahahaha

Getting better. Used, But in good shape Michelan Hydroedge tires in the rear to replace the badly unevenly worn ones, clear corners, a very good wash at my favorite car wash location, those blue turn signal bulbs that light up amber (I keep forgetting their name wtf?) . Oh, And I removed the front license plate holder (hate those things, and I've never been pulled over for it *knocks on wood*).

She looks better eh? This is also my first time using a tripod.

^^ The holes left by the plate bracket.

I dig the silver/chrome arrowhead

Image
Check out the T-stars and nicely blackened tires (gotta see what stuff they use >_>)

Image
The sagging rear end. Getting fixed as soon as I have time which I don't have much of now w/a full time job :(

Image
Butt w/temp tags still. Notice something missing?

Image
One of the fav. reasons I own this Bonne.

She'll be looking brand spankin new after I get the spare $$ to paint and repair the front and back bumper, get some good chrome exhaust tips, and get her first big mod, FWI from INTENSE!

Of course all after I fix the saggy rear which should be done hopefully in the next 144 hours.

P.S. : Need tripod lessons #-o
