The wife put her foot down, again for the umpteenth time, only I had to make the call to LKQ this afternoon. I'm getting a whole $215 for her. She is scheduled to be picked up at 1:30PM Tuesday, January 26th.

Thanks to a "mechanic" that got the car to pass emissions, also only finger tightened the TB nuts. As a consequence, she ate coolant for about 45 days before I figured out there was a problem.

Since I've never taken a full set of photos of the old girl, here is the "photo shoot". Not much of one as I'm not a photographer. I'm only posting the first photo from http://www.photobucket.com. This car was the wife's car from the time we bought it, Thanksgiving 1991 until we bought an S10 Pickup April 1994. We had two vehicles until 2003 when the wife gave her truck to the youngest son. We had one vehicle until I bought her a 2009 CTS August 2008. We've had a 2011 and 2013 CTS since then. I bought my '05 SE August 2014 and I love it, but I'll always want that 92 SSE.

Tuesday will be a sad day for me, but I'll never be able to get it going again any way, so at least, well hopefully at least, it'll keep another Bonneville "living".

I would at least pull all the tails, they look to be in really good condition and are hard to find / expensive.

You sure did take care of that car. It would make a great project car for a high school vo-tech program. It looks like they would just need to find a donor engine/trans, swap it out and sell it to fund other projects and your car could live on. That's what my school did a long time ago. They probably don't do that stuff anymore. To much liability. Your car is just too nice to be picked apart but I know the sound of a woman's voice.

LMAO! I actually got it started this AM. I wish I had a video of her as she bolted through the back door and then to order it had to be gone Tuesday. She actually felt bad last night about it, but that sure changed quick when it started. - BC

I have very good reason to believe that a member has purchased the old girl. I will let them have the "privilege" of "letting the cat out of the bag". I am extremely happy that a club member will either get the old girl running or make good use of her to keep more Bonnevilles "alive". - BC
