Thanks, I appreciate it! Hoping to get a few things done over this winter in preparation for summer time.

I'm hoping I can. It's looking good as long as nothing changes lol. Haven't been able to make it up there yet but this might be the year.

Came home and had a package on the front porch, turned out to be my magnaflow converter! I've been fighting some KR in the higher RPM's and it almost seems like the engine is choking. With 172k on the stock converter I'm hoping this is it, if not at least I know it shouldn't be a problem in the future. Getting it put on Saturday while I install my wifes new double din Kenwood.

Spent today installing my wifes Kenwood double din in her GTP. Afterwards me and the old man went to the JY and had a pretty nice score. I found a new center tail piece, trunk carpet, a set of headlights for my retrofits, and other odds and ends. The car had a set of bent 5's on it, debating whether I want to grab them or not. If they're there next week I'll probably pick them up. While I'm there I'm going to try and snag some new exterior window trim pieces, mine are faded and peeling.

Took my car to get the magnaflow converter welded in. Cost me $86 and only took 45 minutes. Car runs so much better now and is only logging 3 degrees of KR at the top of 3rd gear with 1 degreee or so betwen 1st and 2nd compared to the 10+ I'd see with the old one. Brought the car home and washed/waxed it and cleaned the inside out. Afterwards went for a quick scan to see how it was doing. All in all I'm happy with how the car is performing and think I'm ready to install my 3.5 pulley and 104's soon.

Spent a little time on the car this weekend. Saturday I had a few hours to kill and got bored so I polished my headers, came out pretty good. No major scrubbing or anything, just a quick wipe down with some cleaner. Today we were at Walmart and seen some LED's in the car section so I snagged a few, 2 sets of 3157 bulbs and 2 194's. Initially I installed a set of the 3157's in my front marker lights but felt they were too blueish so I removed them and installed everything in the tails. Definitely a lot brighter in person and I'll probably order some here soon for the rest of the car.

I was in WallyWorld last week just looking around in automotive and noticed that there were no automotive lamps in stock or a place for them to be stocked. I've noticed if something doesn't move fast in my part of the world, WallyWorld stops carrying it in a hurry. I think you are one lucky Bonneville owner :)

LED's are a nice upgrade. I'd suggest using some amber color bulbs for your front turn signals since your corners are cleared. I'd also suggest using resistors in the turn signals to prevent hyper flash. Myself and another member on here go to www.ijdmtoy.com for all things LED. Check them out, overall I am pretty satisfied with their products. I've heard alot of people talk good about www.superbrightleds.com as well but I've never used them personally. Car is looking good as usual.

I'm definitely looking for amber/yellow color up front. I took the LED's I bought out of the front and put them in the back just cause of the color lol.

Thanks for the links, I'll check them out. Do you remember the amount of specific bulbs you had to purchase?

They're all the 3157 I think. The turn signals are the only ones that need resistors. In the rear I bought red for the brake lights and amber for the turn signals but could have just got all clear since the lenses are colored. The bulbs on that site are all sold in PAIRS. So 2 pairs for the brake lights (2 ea side) 1 pair of 194s (outer most bulb in tail light, 1 each side) 1 pair turn signals (1 each side), I also bought a pair of projector reverse bulbs, they don't perform as well as I expected though. And then pair of turn signal bulbs for the front (1 each side)

Here's a link to the ones I used:

Thanks for the info, I'll check out the site.

Today I finally got tired of my oil pan leaking all over my driveway so I decided to replace it. Job wasn't too bad and took about 2 hours start to finish with me do things a little different than expected given what tools I had. I'm going to keep an eye on it throughout the week to check for leaks. When I dropped the pan my oil level sensor got caught on the oil pickup tube and broke it, so next oil change I'll get that replaced. Also changed my oil while I was in there with some Castrol High Mileage semi-synthetic and upgraded filter, had the special on sale.

So the postman dropped off a present for me today. Some ZZP 1.9 rockers! Looking forward to getting these bad boys installed. Any tips when I go to install them?

Very nice! I am told rockers make a very good gain, especially in the upper RPMs. Hopefully someone can chime in with some tips, I can't be of any help there really. I was going to do these as well but might be buying a S1X cam instead from another member on here. When you did the oil pan gasket did you have to support the engine from above or was that just for the later years? On my '03 I know that needed to be done.

I did not have to support the engine from the top but I did leave the jack with a long piece of wood underneath the trans pan for support. Next is going to be the driver side axle seal and new transmission cooler lines, both are dripping fluid.

Axle seal was a pain to get out. I replaced mine when I did the CV axle. For re-installation I found a block of wood useful to get it in straight. I've also done the trans cooler lines. There is a little c-clip that you need to pick out before the fittings loosen. Also, go to the dealer for the lines or get OEM replacements from somewhere. The dorman ones from RockAuto did not fit for me.
