Finally done with Intense stage 1 performance kit

While out today my car stalled and dies under acceleration from a stop light. Figuring it was the fuel filter I bought another and installed it in the lot, still same problem, will start and within two to five seconds it dies while idling. Figured it might be the fuel pump so I pressed on the bypass on the fuel rail and had pressure there, let it all out and then tried to start the car again and still didn't start, pressed again and had pressure again so that rules out the pump. Unplugged to MAF and still the same. Eventually had it towed to y house and have no idea where to go from there. I have a mechanic buddy coming over in the morning with his fancy scanner to see if he CA help me figure it out. Has anyone been through this?

When my converter clogged on my 98' it acted similar to how you describe it. Un-bolt the O2 sensor a give it a try.

Same thing happened on my late 90's blazer. Only problem was I was in the UP at the time and there were no stores around to pick up the right tools... I took a hatchet to the converter and had a loud trip back to lower Michigan but it drove fine once it was opened up!

Had my mechanic buddy come by and he told me that there is not enough pressure so it's my pump going out. I found one and will be ordering next Thursday.

Got the fuel pump in was a pretty easy fix. Now I need to save some change and repair my rear shocks and headliner and sunroof.
