That's pretty good. I know I need to do that yet. What was the part number used?

This would be good for techinfo.

Good job.

Nice tutorial Hans!

Couple things:
You need some new tools! LOL
Would have been a good idea to replace the sock filter on the bottom of the unit, cheap insurance.
Also, anytime you have fuel pressure at 0, prime the prime a few times before trying to start it, should fire right up then.

Nice video, But here's my question. With a good fuelsender, how many miles do you drive with a full fank of gas before the gage moves off the full mark? I can drive about 200 miles befor my gage moves off the full mark. Then I can drive around another 150 to 180 miles before it reads empty. Is this normal? Then my mileageshows up at around 25 MPG

Fuel gauges aren't linear...

Back on topic.

Great set of videos Hans. That absolutely simplifies it to the lowest point. I knew the 00+'s fuel pump and sender were easier to access than the previous gens, but that is just nuts! Excellent. If I had an 00, I think I'd want to go change my fuel pump and sender just because I could, they truly inspire confidence. Great Job. :beerchug:

I didn't see this before. Great job.

I like on the beginning of the 3rd video "I guess I'm kind of a Bonneville fan." I had to chuckle at that.

When mine decides to crap out I'll definitely feel confident doing it. That is, if I'm not too fat to fit in my trunk by then.

I just watched the vids for the second straight time.I feel confident that I can tackle this project after watching and I'm sure this would fund my mechanics summer vacation if I took it around to him. What is the process of priming before restarting the engine?

The dealer or on ebay. There are literally hundreds of auctions. You don't really need to be concerned about the actual vehicle, just if the sensor looks the same.
