couple pictures of my car with the "new" wheels. i haven't seen any pictures of these wheels on any Bonnevilles...yet. these wheels seem to be more neutral off-set than the stock mags, making them stick out a bit farther. i like the look.

They do look good.

Another member (from Canada) had them on his 94 SE back when he had it, John, I can't for the life of me remember his SN right now though...

the 5 spoke design is fairly common, with both stock wheels and aftermarket styles. these just seem "smoother" than most of the ones i have looked at. together with the more concave shape and slightly wider rim lip, they give the car a wider looking stance. since they are 7" wheels, i can put on wider tires...maybe, if i can find a deal on some next spring, i might try some 235 or 245/50s. the standard size 225/60 Toyos i have on it look pretty good, though.

they had some pretty caked on crud when i got them. unfortunately, i found out the coating on them doesn't stand up to wire brushing very well. [-X some wheel cleaner and then an attack of simple green and a scotch pad cleaned them up pretty nicely, though. the best part is i only paid a pittance for them. i was going to put on a set of Ultra Platinums i had here...but didn't like the looks of them, so i sold them to a kid who wanted to put them on his fartcan ricer [gotta love unilug wheels] and for about a third of what i sold the Ultras for, got these and paid for the tire mounting. what a deal! :beerchug:

i always say with the right wheels you can make any car look good, or the right car look better.

Great car! The wheels suit it, and I love the color too.

thanks for the replies. :beerchug:
like any good automotive enthusiast, i will continue to tweak, detail, and modify on this old car for a while. in fact, after i took these pictures, i got home and did a little touch up on the paint, polishing out or reapplying paint to places where it was badly scratched, missing, or faded. i found a very close matching spray paint to do the rockers and spoilers with at O'Reilly's [Dupli-Color Forest Green Pearl...actually listed as a Chrysler color]. i like the dark green. it is something i have liked since i started noticing it on cars back in high school.

I had them on my Betty before she passed on but switched to the gold crosslaces. They're from a 94-96 Grand Prix. John from Canada had polished 97+ Grand Prix rims on his former Christine. They look good buddy! Keep up the good work!
