I'll have to say that one looks vaguely familiar ;)

That truly is a sweet looking car and you got it for a steal of a price IMO. I think I'd have to agree with the concensus so far...this one is defintely worth keeping. Given the transformation you have pulled off with some of the more sad condition Bonnies that have come under your skilled hands, this one could have the potential to be incredibly cherry. Once you get the car to that point, how much would it really take to make you part company with it? I'm thinking that would be a pretty stout figure...and well worth it.

If I may be blunt... :hit it:

So, have you decided what to do with it?

I'd keep it if it wasn't white. I'm just not a fan... I'd need to be in absolute love to keep it.

Currently thinking about this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... MEWAX%3AIT

Andrew got a deal on the Bonne from Ryan. That is one fine looking car!

As colors go, the last car the wife owned was white. She swore she would never own another one when she got rid of it. So, the next car she bought was a color she swore she would never own before she bought it, black. The dealer wanted to get rid of it so bad, he took off $9K on a new 2011, and we bit. After TRYING TO KEEP IT CLEAN, I see it's a lost cause. The only reason it looks as good as it does is because of the the help provided by forum members (thanks guys!).

So I say, Andrew, keep the white one you bought from Ryan. I would love to own that car, but it "ain't gonna happen". The black one looks like it might have "rust scourge". - BC

Today I took out the old tranny and put in the new tranny. I put in the one from the silver 01 I parted out a while ago, only had 123k compared to the 02 tranny I have with 145k. Trans works great. Along with the tranny job, I also installed new tie rod ends and sway bar end links. I'll have it aligned sometime next week.
Image

Anyone interested in this Hogan 3" downpipe? I'll de-mod it if I can get enough to make it worth it.
Image

Then later I started messing with the "Service Stability System". I was getting codes C1235 and C1287. C1235 is for the RR wheel sensor, but after hooking up a good hub and testing it, it still didn't fix it. I installed a new rear hub wiring harness and the C1235 went away. I still have the C1287 which is the SWPS. I'll slap one of those in sometime soon.

Good news Andrew, the MN State Gov't should be up and running next week. So you can sell it soon with no issues at all.

I like the picture that showed that you didn't have to remove the wheel hub and axle shaft in order to remove the trani.
Good work.

***blows off dust***

I've been driving this car for almost 3 months now... wasn't really tempted to keep it, it was just a nice change of pace.

This week I did some hardcore work on it and finally got it ready for sale. The only thing left is I'm going to pull the INTENSE MPS off before it sells.

No progress pics on this one, so you'll have to use your imagination. Some of the things I did:

Replaced headlights with stockers
Replaced taillights with stockers
Had PDR done on the driver rear door... entire car is door ding free now
Removed Hogan downpipe/cat and installed a stock exhaust
Replaced the cracked drivers side mirror
Installed 2 almost new front tires and polished up the wheels again
Replaced both tie rod ends
Replaced valve cover gaskets
Had a 4 wheel alignment
Replaced the steering column to fix a bad washer fluid button and SWPS

Finished pics: http://andrewsuderman.com/02ssei.html

I'll be listing it for $7000

White is white is white, just like light blue is (girly?) light blue.

I listed it on the 11th for $6950 and parked it on the street. Had a older couple come look at it yesterday and fall in love. Came back today with cash. My original bottom dollar was $6500, but he got me down to $6250 and I was happy with that. SOLD!

The current book prices are:
Excellent $6,650
Good $6,125
Fair $5,325
