photos taken 2 months ago at local dealer, was Carter Pontiac but is now Carter GM, in Burnaby, British Columbia. Pontiac signage will be coming down soon, so I asked if I could get some photos of my car in front of the showroom. They moved a couple of the new cars out of the way so we could set this up.

Is that your poster or theirs?

Nice of them to support that!

Great photos! That's one seriously clean car.

Yeah I would of asked if they were just throwing away the signs because I would take them. On the other hand I like that white / blue / green paint on that Camaro

thanks,
obvioulsy I like the combo of the white car, matching white torque-stars and raised white letter tires.

here's a close-up of one of my wheels/tires, hasn't been cleaned since last summer, but car show season starts soon, so I'll be cleaning the wheel, mr. clean majic eraser on the letters and tire shine.

I think the eagle #1 nascar tires are being (maybe already have been) discontinued by goodyear, I checked a couple of the internet tire sellers and the only size they list now is 225/60/16, mine are 235/55/16, so I guess if I damage one, I'll be looking at a whole new set of something else.

you've got my vote for June COTM if you get in the pool. Great photo shoot. Your car looks like it just rolled out of the showroom, nice job.

Nice photoshoot! That was awesome of them to let you stage that (and move some cars for you). I like the window stickers and the poster in the window. Well done!

Every available option
Thats' the car that made me fall in love with Bonnevilles. My father owned a 1990 LE new which was an okay car but when I saw my first SSEi (it was white like yours) I immediately thought to myself that I was going to own a Bonneville one day. I owned a red 1995 SE before upgrading to my current 2000 SSEi some 8 years ago.

You have a beautifully preserved Bonneville. Showroom condition. Awesome!

thanks, here's another recent photo of the car that I think is worth sharing, this was taken last summer, that's me, my son Quinn and one of our dogs Daisy, and the signatures on the photo are John Schinella and Bill Davis (John was chief exterior designer and Bill worked on the design team for the '87 Bonneville, the '88 SSE, and the '92 restyle and introduction of SSEi)

Image

here's a photo of the 2 exterior designers signing the photo

Image

and the 2 photos laminated together displayed on my car

as a fan of old school hot rods and muscle cars, i have grown up seeing the best cars only being complete if they had the prerequisite RWL tires mounted up. BFG TAs, Goodyear Eagles, or any other tire, usually in the standard 60 or 50 series sizes. when i see a modern car with the letters spinning on the sidewall, it does my old heart some good. don't know why they stopped being popular.

Even though the car isn't 25 years old yet, I'd still have to say the car is definitely collectable. Great photo shoot and great looking car! Makes me want to go back to the future. - BC
