Whoa, give us more pics!!!

That looks great! But I'd paint that strip black again on the trim, gives it a little more definition...unless you wanted it body color.

Nice wheel choice too.

Looks good there Vin...very nice choice of color. However, I would have taken all the moulding off and painted it off the car, then reattached.

I found that emblem...still need it?

I love that. Amazing. The look is flawless. A black line would just be distracting.

Looks great! What a come back.
I like the black lines around the headlights too. Gave me an idea!
Did you paint the black line, or use pinstripe tape?

Oh, and what did you do with the funky original headlights? Do you still have them?

Adam

Year and Trim: 1992 SSEI. Building up the lady
hi,

sorry for letting you all wait. Had a terrible week of changing shifts at my work. Still got two days to go but going on strong

The black lines you see are from my headlights. I bought them that way. And my funky headlights are rare cause they are for a eurpean/dutch car. I must keep them in case the mechanic starts to make a point at the yearly check-up. My american lights are slightly different in the light they provide.

The lady has a turbo muffler mounted on her but the sound is to loud. Next week she also becomes a performance muffler fitted at the front. The goal is that she has a sound that is dark and smooth. And most important it stays dark en smooth.

This weekend i start together with my dad to change foglights, paint the uppersection off my tail lights, replace my *dang* expensive GM antenna, put in a KN- Filter.

After the summer i want to start with the engine and transmission. But i think to look for a engine in the USA,..your hometown. Here in the Netherlands they almost ask about 8000$ for a engine makeover. And then i have to pay about 4000$ for a transmission rebuild. Well,...i am not crazy. ( right now my dog shakes her head )

Is it very difficult to change my supercharged engine series one for a supercharged series two ?. If so i will look for a engine with less miles on it.

Thanx again for all the goods words. Still got to learn a lot and i am not there yet. Day by day.

I will keep you informed.

thanx

Vin

It isn't too hard to change to a Series 2. Bolting it in is the easy part...it's getting the PCM to interface with the older chassis that will be the trick. See my write-up in techinfo:

Don't let a swap scare you if you know electronics and are comfortable with soldering and other stuff.
