This is my newly project car. It has some issues, but its nothing major I can't do myself. only issues are going to be the money and finding the parts. :beerchug:

I will, don't worry... its going to take awhile. Deployment is coming up fairly soon, and I don't have the money to throw into it. so...

It's gonna take work...but isn't that the point? The feeling after you get it perfect of the work you put in paying off...

if the exterior looks like that, I'm nervous to see the interior.

I can't believe the exhaust "tips" are still intact. I broke mine off in less than a year of owning the car. lol

Looks like it has potential. Out of curiosity, what did you pay for it?

Honestly from the rear doors forwards, it looks pretty decent. Not bad!

Premium gas fyi if you didn't know.

Hmm.
All I see needed is a rear bumper cover (PM me for how to R&R, I've had mine off and on three times now) and the need for tail lights. You got a heck of a deal! Great potential here.

lol!

It doesn't look in too bad of shape besides the rear end like Cody mentioned. The rest would probably clean up nicely. We'll have to meet up sometime, I've got your unsupercharged twin. We're not all that far apart, plus I'll be moving down your way here in about two months.

For the front the hood is smashed down and the grill is missing.

Thats my 2 yr old daughter in the drivers seat.

I will eventually post pics of all of the issues it has.

And what would the effects be of not putting premium fuel in it?

Hey will... I have always hateed bras on car, but my cars twin looks sexy with it... I may have to do that myself. Are those headlight covers or the spray on tint?

For one thing, the engine won't be performing like it should without premium. Your avg mpg will probably drop, and in the long run possibly spending more on gas than if you ran the premium as you should. Not to mention this can cause harm to the engine, possibly popping a piston.

I didn't much like the bras on cars either. I only have it on the '01 for long road trips for protection and for that particular picture in my siggy. The '93 wears it to hide some hood and front bumper damage. I think it looks pretty slick with with the blacked out headlights to boot. And to answer your question, yeah those are headlight covers, that my brother broke a few months ago shutting the hood on one when it wasn't on straight. :bstooges:

I think I can help with some of your parts search though.

So I was going through the trunk and back seat area of my car when I found some interesting, nasty and awesome things. First the interesting. Does anyone know what this stuff is? I have no idea, but if its not needed I want to get rid of the useless weight. It looks like computer software, the box thats in the backseat is motorala. Could it be some kind of tracking, gps, or something else?

Now for the nasty. This is what I found under the rear seat pad and between the trunk and read back rest

Gotta love the mice. The guy I got it from said was only sitting for a couple months. I'm going to have to call :bs: on that one. This also explains the "cars been sitting forever smell"

A now for the Awesome. UPS just dropped off my clear corners.

I will add pics of them installed when my wife gets back and I install them.

That motorola thing and the thing in the first pic is definatly not stock. Unplug it all and see if anything changes. IF not, ditch it.

That's OLD cell phone technology...probably dealer installed when the car was new (My old '93 had that exact setup...what was left of it anyways). Junk it.
