Those pictures are why I love bonnevilles. They are in my opinion the sharpest looking cars when they are all shiny and squeaky clean. Yours is especially sharp with those wheels.

I own an '03 ssei. I fought tooth and nail with my husband b/c he wanted to clear the corners. It's not that I didn't want them cleared, I just didn't want him messing something up that could cost money. I'm sure everyone here knows what that's about. Anyway. He held a mini meet here and needless to say, while I was cooking dinner he and the others cleared my corners. Now I'm mad I wouldn't let him earlier b/c I have all those pics that look bad compared to now. I love them.

I started reading that and thinking to myself, If I get to the end of this story and her corners aren't cleared, I'm gonna sneek off and do them when I'm there

Glad its not comming to that :P

Maybe we need a MN mini meet to clear mine? we have a 60x45 shop to do it in! :booty: :)

$5000 would be a very expensive paint job for an ENTIRE car.

Actually it isn't. I would even say its on the low side for a quality paintjob. Being into classic Mustangs, I follow a lot of bodyshop stories on other forums. Many members don't hesitate to pay $10,000 for a paintjob. The labor that goes into a paintjob is ridiculous and the materials are expensive as well.

$5k on a modern car isn't bad. On a classic ride you're doing MUCH MUCH more body work, filling, straightening panels, all the little parts badges and clips cost more, etc.
