went with 50%, the max limit in MN. I got it done at sun control of MN, they did a great job and got me a competitive price. Only took them a couple hours, and there are still some bubbles and hazyness, but it should go away. Overall i'm impressed.

I have mixed feelings about the percentage though. It looks dark from a high angle, or only looking through one window at the interior (because my interior is dark) but from some angles it looks pretty light.

fairly dark looking:

I would have been happier with 35 as far as looks go, but i didnt want to hassle with cops.
no, their regular prices don't include the sunroof. I think i might remove it and try throwing on a sheet of cheap stuff myself.

Looks great!

You'll be happy you went with legal, you can drive around and not worry all the time (I used to do that...even rolled down my windows if I saw a cop)

you guys are SO lucky to have even a tint percentage that is permissable by law. I wish we wisened up down here in Illinois to do the same. NO tint is allowed down here (on drivers and front passeneger side windows only). The rear passeneger and back windows can go as dark as you want. (last time I checked).

Our laws say 50% on the fronts and 35% on the rears are the limit. I don't like two-tone tint look. So 50% is the darkest I would go if I did it. But I'm unsure if it's worth it for just 50%.

Looks decent enough though. The car is lookin good as always though.

Looks good: Haro just generated revenue for the cops...that's why they targeted him lol

I've run 35% tint on my Bonneville before and been pulled over twice for other reasons and they didn't mention anything about the tint. (tint laws is the same as Booze)

that looks great with the color of your car, I bet once you tint the roof it will look darker.

That looks good, I have to agree though it will be nice for you to not have to worry about the cops.

Looks like they did a good job your car looks good, but to bad the limit is 50% VS Ontario law of 35%, I think 35% would looks even better Imo :)

Looks good! Here in Texas 5% is the limit for the back and I think 35% is the limit for the front

It's very strange in MN. If you have a van, truck or SUV, the rear can be painted black if you want, but the front is still 50%. My Tahoe had something like 20% factory rear. I never did the fronts, but it would have looked great with 35 or 50.

I think my Bonnie has 35% in the rear and the fronts arent done at all. I need to get it redone though because theres a cut in the rer drivers side and a scratch in the back. I might do 35 all around and deal with the attention. I think what most people are missing is that the cops are attracted to bad driving habits as well as "youthful" addons like pnp hid kits, stickers all over and whatever else. I don't think many people get targeted based solely on the tint on the windows. I might just do 50 in front to avoid the hassle, it looks quite good.

A lot of cops in my area give tint tickets, and even slash tint, so it has to be removed. I don't want the hassle in any case, so I'm going w/ 50% tint. That way, if a cop wants to be a jerk, I can show him what's up.

Sorry to burst your bubble ed, but 50% will meter out illegal, more like 45-49. There is a small amount of factory Tint. I am just not worried about being stopped with 50 because it looks pretty light.

Oh, lol. I agree, that light of tint won't attract attention, vs 35% or darker.
