Well, with summer winding down, and the impending doom of winter just around the corner, I've been taking every opportunity to drive the Caddy. Thankfully it has been a great past two weeks, including today. Not a cloud in the sky... I was going by work today, happened to have the camera in the car, and my ID (so I could get in) and got some good ones on the top deck of the parking garage;

I can never have anything that nice around here :(

Mainly because people are idiots. My PA is an ocean of door dings, not to mention 1 dog strike, 3 hits when parked, 1 lovetap in the rear.

Not even my driveway is safe, the Regal lives there most of the time and has already been swiped by what I assume was a delivery man using a hand truck and someone either dropped a tree or sicked an excitable puppy on my LF fender.

Looks good Lane, keep it as nice as you can for as long as you can.

There is no arguing that point, but to me, the V is more special. Obviously, they're both very special. It would need to be a manual GXP for me to take one over an STS-V and even then, it would be a hard choice.

Dat blower whine combined with the N* scream, it's hard to beat.

I'm not a big fan of silver, but that is a mighty sharp ride...especially with that lurking air of brute performance sneaking out via the grill, wheels, and rear spoiler. Classy, but still hungry for some fresh BMW meat.

These were the same arguments I had in my head back in the day when I was given the "approval" (you now know what I mean there Ghosthawk). STS-V or G8 GXP? The G8 had to have a man pedal since there was an option there, but the problem was then, just like now, prices... Astronomical. It boiled down to, I get more content for the money with the Caddy. I just give up ultimate modifiability seeing as though there is soo little out there for this car vs. a GenIV V8.

When I park a half-mile away from everything, it seems like some "meat head" has to park as close to me as they can get, even when the parking lot is empty. It is a great looking car. I've known of people who would go out of their way to purposely go out of their way to do damage to a car such as that. Jealousy? Feelings of inadequacy? Don't want anyone else to have nice things? Not something that I've ever understood.
