I decided to plug in my bluetooth to the Regal yesterday and see some information. Nothing real exciting, but just fun to do.

Fuel pressure varies from 43psi to 90
Fuel pressure at the rail runs from 700psi to the 3200 max I saw
Boost maxes at 20psi
Stock thermostat is 185 and even on an 80* day it stays right there and actually drops to 180 at times
0-60 was timed at 6.7 sec
1/4 was 14.5

End session!

That's half a second faster than magazines reported.

Definitely can attest to the GS being quicker than a stock SSEi and it handles much better.

I would like to know if the MAP sensor could be used on the SSEi.......for those running between 10-20 psi boost since the stock MAP max's out at 2 bar or 15 psi.

Bet the 0-60 is closer to 6 seconds but the 1/4 mi time is about right.....quick!

I would recommend this car to any enthusiast who can live without a stick.

I was playing and trying different things with the TC, GS and stabilitrac. Also, remember this is with the bluetooth device and not a tree. Hopefully I can sneak it to the track this summer without the wife knowing.

I really want to test drive one of these...may have to stop by the dealer I used to work at and see if they have one.

Matt, does this engine use the same type of cam driven fuel pump like the new LT1 motors do? Either way, it's really exciting to see how technology, especially direct injection, is going to change performance motors. They open a whole new door for being able to boost the heck out of motors without blowing stuff up haha.

GS is available with a 6 speed manual.

I meant to say "who has to live without a stick" as is the case with most "wifes" cars.
