I still have the 00 SSEi for when I need something with more than 134HP.

This is my new daily driver. '12 Corolla S in Nautical Blue.

The thing is quite loaded with autodimming rear view mirror, sunroof, stability control, 6 speaker audio etc. I got 36MPG on a short trip recently, but in the city, I am around 31mpg which is a hell of a lot better than the SSEi.

Looks good! Enjoy it!

Probably does better in the city than my Cruze, since my Cruze is a fat 3000 lb pig of a compact. Yours is what, 2600 lbs?

For economy these aren't bad. And the S package makes them look decent too. Not my ideal DD but I can see where it would save a TON of money...

The bad news is that Toyota hasn't updated that design in forever aside from cosmetics. The good news is that it's dead-nuts reliable, and parts are everywhere since it's been around in that same form since forever.

That should break 40 mpg on the highway with gentle driving.

Liking the color! All you really need for the daily commute I suppose. Gotta love those MPG's.

Not really my thing to be honest, but I'm sure it will serve you well and it is a heck of a lot better looking than the European Toyota Auris.

That is a great choice of colour too. :)
