Lol.....true. Here comes the naive arguing about which brand is better.

Wish my '04 had the brawn under the hood to back up its looks like that Terminator. Haven't driven a brand new Mustang, but according to all the magazines/blogs/reviews, they're pretty much unanimous that the new GT/Boss 302 is best all-around driver's car of the big three, when you factor in weight/handling, along with the acceleration. And I don't say that because I own a Mustang - the others are indeed sweet cars. We all have our preferences, and I wouldn't mind having ANY of these in my driveway....

Thanks for sharing the story of your car. I've always liked those GTO's and LOVE the color or yours. It's cool to hear the story behind yours, both in purchasing it, and in the one-off mods that have been done. Definitely a special car with special memories to hang on to for years to come.

I think we can all agree on the fact that the Challenger is all looks. Camaro's kinda a fat pig too. I wouldn't buy any of the 3 new pony cars, but if I had to it would be a Camaro. Just cause I can't go Ford.

Even though build quality suffered in 85, my T/A still feels faster, more nimble and has more driving feel than the new Maro's. Even being that it has less power.

First gear in the auto feels fast too, it's a stout car no doubt. Id even buy one, but I mostly meant to emphasize its boaty feel compared to its ancestors.
