No and no.

Hint - It has to do with an air intake.

Jake and Ed got it. =D>

It's an adapter for the 89 Jeep XJ that will add 10 hp.

One nipple is for the PCV and one is for the Evap. It's a 3" dia SS piece of pipe left over from the Bullet exhaust.
I have an identical set up on the 88 XJ

Bringing it into the shop to get welded tomorrow.

Ahhhh ya caught me you ol dog! It is a performance mod but not for a Bonneville......but it could be. [-(

BTW, I had to clean all the oil that accumuated over the last couple years that got trapped in the accordian from the relocated PCV routing.
I can purchase a filter locally for $75 but have delayed purchase for now. If I do it for one vehicle I feel compelled to do it for four and the cost would be huge!! Easier to clean a little oil once in a while. At the least the multiply accordian is good for something. #-o

All done but it got dark before I could snap a pic. Gave it a little growl to enhance the Magnaflow exhaust.
Has a nice Reflectix enclosure to shield from engine bay heat. I redid the shield on the 88. It lasted four years and needed to be redone. The aluminum coating on the plastic started to delaminate and flake off. Only took a few minutes to remake using the old one as a template and improving on it in a few places. :beerchug:
