Just got my caddy back from the shop. They took care of corrosion at the inside bottom edge of all the doors. They look brand new now. The finish is corrosion free now.
I woke up early, it was warm, and the sun was not yet shining on our driveway. It was ideal for a wash and wax out of direct sunlight. I used Liquid Clay bar from Turtle Wax. (Not sure it works better than regular car soap) then I used a product to remove light swirls marks, then I used a finish liquid wax from Turtle Wax. Three hours later, I took some pictures. I am not the best picture taker, so I took a bunch.

BTW, O'Reilly's Auto has a Meguiars Clay bar kit for $18.99. I will pick that up tomorrow.

Looks Good! Camera is a bit hazy, though, lol.

I think the liquid clay is more of a middle step that's not as involved as claying, after washing. I've had good luck with Meg's Gold Class car wash. The Mother's Clay Bar kit is a good deal. I cut mine up and vacuum seal quarters of the bars, so when I need one, I only have a quarter of the bar wasted, and the rest stays fresh.

Looks very nice, beautiful car!

Also, if you are like me and have enough quick detailer and trial size cleaner waxes to choke a horse, the Clay Magic kit is cheaper, comes only with the clay and lube, and works just as well as the mother's or meguiar's kit. all OTC clay is pretty much the same effectiveness.
