The chrome on the rims of my mothers car is peeling BADLY (they were before we got it) and she is sick of putting air in it every weekend. We have had the rims ground and sealed around where the tire meets it, but that only lasted a few months.

SO, we are now looking for a cheap set of nice rims, and I found some 01 Camaro rims (that look like mine but not chrome).

First, does anyone know the offset of these (auroras are the same as bonnies).

Second, they are 17X9 and I have a feeling that is much too wide, but will it fit?

Thanks.
Alex

I tried to put my old 95 rims on my 01 aurora. The bolt pattern it the same, and the offset was close if not the same, but due to caliper clearance, stud bolt lengths and stuff, it never happened. They may fit, but I'd want to test fit them before buying due to the other factors I ran into.

camaro wheels are not the same they are in between the old chevy 5 lug and the FWD bolt pattern like our bonnes. the only cars that have that bolt pattern are camaro/firebirds, corvettes and oddly enough s10's although the offset is different

Camaro wheels are 5x4.75". Over 5 mm different than our 5x115mm. Too far off.
