1991 LE throttle body coolant tubes

Post by jimbone_sdca »

Unable to find viable "L" tube Since My L tube Corroded into the throttle body, and the elbow tube which is the intake for the coolant is totally corroded and the hole in the engine block is filled with corrosion and there is practically no coolant flow through....IF I use a sae tap with 20 threads per inch can i use 2 solid brass pipe plugs and locktite to close the holes forever since they are no longer manufactured and you cant find useable ones at the junkyards and auto dismantlers or even on E-BAY. The car won't stall and fail to start like when the coolant temperature sensor went bad and caused the engine to flood and fuel pressure regulator had to be replaced or The MAF sensor went bad, will it?
