ecm swaping
will an ecm from a 97 se work in a 96 se. i know engine and trans are the same,but thats about it. not shur of any other differences. the purpose of this is to get a zzp tune mainly because of the vs cam i installed

The trans is actually different, '96 was still using the 4T60. Everything '97 and up got the 4T65. But as far as the trans sensors/electronics I'm not sure if they're compatible. Hopefully someone else can chime in and get you more details on this. I think as long as ZZP knows what trans you have they should be able to give you what you need...but then again, it's ZZP.
